The Coaching Podcast explores how to coach for success in sport & business. Your hosts Emma Doyle & Simon Blair discuss the differences and parallels between coaching in these different worlds. An interview with a coach from the world of sport or business kicks off each show then Emma & Simon dissect the themes raised from their contrasting perspectives.

Emma interviews Jeff Salzenstein, former top 100 ATP and founder of tennisevolution.com.

Emma and Simon discuss some great concepts thrown up by Jeff including the importance of the coaches search for those ‘aha’ moments and in having a ‘growth mindset’.

Jeff’s question for the ‘The Coaching Podcast’ provides the chance for Emma and Simon to delve deep into personal insights and methods they use for themselves and as coaches to create good daily routines and to manage stress.

Emma’s personal insights to how she managed to write her first book and Simon’s live demonstration of how to breathe properly, are moments not to be missed!

Simon interviews his first business coach, Dr. Steve Barlow from ‘The Change Gym’. Steve specialises in helping individuals and teams with their change fitness and change readiness. As an experienced consultant and published author on organisational change management, Steve throws up plenty of great topics for Emma & Simon to sink their teeth into.

Emma spent a number of weeks in the United States attending various tennis events and conferences where she managed to interview some terrific leading coaches in the sport. Our first ever interviewee for The Coaching Podcast is Kyle LaCroix, Assistant Director of Tennis at The Oaks in Boca Raton, Florida.
